go home to lunch

Our school meals are provided by a Hampshire based company called HC3S. Menus are provided and tend to work on a three week rotation.  These are available to view on www.myschoollunch.co.uk/hampshire.  Copies of this are kept in the school office, classrooms and are sent home as and when they are updated.  Meals are chosen on the day at morning registration.

Milk is available at no cost to children under the age of 5 years. Details of costs to older children are available via www.coolmilk.com.

Packed Lunches

Due to allergies we are a nut free school, please note this includes not providing your child with peanut butter or chocolate spread in their sandwiches.  Children should bring a healthy balanced packed lunch and items that are not allowed are: fizzy drinks, sweets, glass bottles, kiwi, peanuts or peanut butter.

Snacks

A free fruit or vegetable snack is provided daily for 4-7 year olds.  Children in KS2 may bring a similar item for morning play if they wish.

School Clothing

School uniform is important to create a sense of pride, identity and belonging. Children should attend school looking clean and smart.  These items of clothing may be purchased at most local department stores in Salisbury. Sweatshirts, fleeces, PE shorts, PE T-shirts, sun hats, PE bags and book bags are available from the office but clothing does have to have the school logo. Plain blue tops, included knitted jumpers are acceptable. Boys should wear grey or black trousers or shorts. Girls should wear a grey pinafore, skirt or blue gingham summer dress. Order forms are available on request. Our uniform is supplied by a local factory and is easily available via the school office. (white polo shirts are widely available in shops and supermarkets).

Dark coloured shoes/sandals must be worn in school. Girl’s boots are not appropriate above the ankle. Plimsolls and/or trainers should be brought to school in a bag so that children may change for PE and Games. Socks should be white, black or grey in colour and can be ankle or knee high. Hair accessories should be understated and small. Jewellery should not be worn to school accept for a single stud piercing in each ear if desired. Watches are encouraged as they promote good maths and time telling - but should not be ‘flash’, expensive or of any great value.

For Physical Education each child will need a white T-shirt, blue shorts or skirt and a pair of plimsolls - all in a named drawstring bag (these items are available from the school office). Jewellery must be removed or taped for participation in PE.
