COLLECTIVE WORSHIP AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

Collective Worship is a vital part of school life and is conducted daily in line with legal requirements and the Trust Deeds of the School (which means that worship is consistent with the faith and practice of the Church of England). It generally draws together the whole school, but some worship is class based or for Infants and Juniors separately. We aim to present Collective Worship and Religious Education in a way that includes all children. If, however, parents wish to exercise their parental rights to withdraw children from some or all Acts of Worship and or Religious Education then they should discuss this with the Headteacher.

Collective Worships which take place are:

Monday  -  Whole School ‘Values’ Worship led by Headteacher

Tuesday  - Sing up Worship – Worship through song

Wednesday -  Worship led by local church leader

Thursday -  Class worship on weekly ‘Values’ theme

Friday -  Celebration Worship
